About
Pat Rapp’s bio:
My interests are in Technology, Science and Trends–particularly web technology, cognitive science, virtual reality, sensors, and RFID. I work in innovative business development around new technologies.
I have had the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of web development in their infancy. My first web development work was in 1995 as a part of a team that did groundbreaking work in multimedia and web design. Two years later, I worked for CyberMath, where we developed one of the first distance learning programs for the military.
My love for the Next Thing in web technology has led me to my current work in Second Life, a virtual world which takes the web to a social, 3D, immersive model.
Along with working in a public library and presenting technology training, I am currently researching business applications for new technologies.
